Heritage Club

The Heritage Club is designed to allow donors to make long term gifts, providing the YMCA with a stable financial base with greater growth potential. Gift options can include will bequests; naming the YMCA as an insurance beneficiary; charitable trusts or annuities; and outright gifts.

A commitment to the Heritage Club is the greatest statement of support to the mission of the YMCA that a friend of the Y can make.  The YMCA of the Cedar Rapids Metropolitan Area is committed to strengthening the spirit, mind and body of children and families within our community. One of the most influential means of realizing this commitment is made possible by donors who belong to the Heritage Club.

Are you 70 ˝ or Older?  President Bush recently signed the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008 into law, which will allow people aged 70 ˝ and older the opportunity to make gifts directly from their IRA to a qualified charity such as the YMCA.
